Divine Spirit manifests Itself to all beings everywhere according to Its perfect Understanding of the best manner for that manifestation relative to the nature, galactic and planetary locality and other aspects of the beings to/for/within whom the manifestation occurs. Nevertheless, we recognize the value of anthropomorphic associations in the development of the personal relationship with the Divine. We experience the Divine Spirit as feminine in quality, activity and expression. Therefore, as King Solomon did, we feel it is most appropriate to use female pronouns and relevant associations to communicate about this Aspect of Divine Being. As the Source of all, Wisdom is "the Great Mother." Within the Abyss, the utter depths of our consciousness, that place within us where it's so dark the proverbial sun doesn't shine, the Holy Spirit is omnipresent there as "the Dark Mother", shining brightly, illuminating our way and nurturing us through the transformations entailed in progressing beyond and ascending from such depths.

About The Dark Mother

The "Dark Mother" is a term most commonly associated with [ideations of the Divine whom (primarily) pagans regard as] Dark Goddesses ruling over and facilitating the processes of Transformation relative to Life, Death and Rebirth. Much of the emphasis in such associations is upon Her Presence and communication with the individual during her/his experience(s) of "Death passages" or seasons of deep, intense, personal transformation that leave her/him remarkably different from the person he/she was before transiting those passages. Many experiences in life engender Death passages, i.e. depression, loss of one's love interest or job, mid-life crisis, childbirth, divorce, moving to a new city 1000 miles away (or even a new home across town), training for the Olympics and, especially, the dynamics of mortal death and dying.  Throughout all Death passages, particularly in those heaviest for us to bear, the Presence of Wisdom is immediately available to us all in the deepest, darkest levels of our being. Bearing Light, She meets us there as the Mother of our spirits, as Comforter, Nurturer, Nourisher, Teacher, Companion, Friend, Protectress, Helper, Guide and more. As the Dark Mother, (the Mother in our dark cycles), Wisdom embraces, nurtures and nourishes us, omnipresent with us throughout our seasons of personal Abyss. Furthermore, She is the One who activates and teaches us how to use our higher mental and psychic faculties, even our inherent supernatural Nature and abilities, thus enabling us to experience holistic healing, rebirth and transcendence beyond the inner obstacles hindering us from living our most dynamic, powerful and blessed lives.

Siblings in Christ, Holy Spirit is not concerned about whether one relates to It as Her or Him - that's why the Holy Bible refers to Spirit as both! That One's Nature is both Feminine and Masculine.
