The
Harmonic Principle by Which Time Becomes Music
"As Above, So Below"

In the Tzolk'in, the Maya
did an excellent work detailing the frequencies of the planetary and
stellar cycles of our solar system, the Pleiadean star system and the
Milky Way galaxy and the relationships between such cycles and their
effects on cosmological reality, from DNA to the formation and
evolution of universes and beyond to the codifying of what is regarded
as the Logic of Spirit in Matter. They perceived their Model in the
cycles and subcycles of the Milky Way and, (from the perspective of the
galaxy being a fractal of the whole universe and the human being being
a fractal of the galaxy), they could define the harmonic progression
and interaction of such cycles on a day to day basis and determine the
cause and effect of the movement of the universe within the measure
of the human being on a daily basis, over periods of trillions of
years, past and future, (for periods longer than this universe is old).
When viewed from this perspective, their diagram of such cycles and
their effects became a Calendar which reveals much more than a series
of days and dates, names and numbers, it also reveals the harmonic
relationships between sets and subsets of these celestial cycles and
their effects on and manifestations within all aspects of human
existence. It is regarded as sacred because it is not just a calendar,
it is considered to be an universal Code of the harmonic unfolding and
activity of the Energy of the Creator/Creatress investing Itself in
manifesting and evolving all that is; it is a Key by which the harmonic
energies of Spirit, the Archetypes of the psyche and the power of the
stars which courses (as chemical energy) through our dna can be
comprehended, harnessed and consciously directed to effect unspeakable
transformation within the individual and throughout the Cosmos.
The Tzolk'in sonic
translations operate on the principle of harmonic correspondence which
is a cornerstone of esoteric philosophy, best summed up by the rule "as
above, so below". Here is an elementary explanation of this
principle:
Everything that exists, whether the thing is physical,
emotional or
spiritual, is the product of the movement (or "oscillation") of Energy
between a positively charged pole and a negatively charged pole. This
oscillation is called vibration. The speed of this vibration is called
"frequency", i.e. the frequency is the number of times the fundamental
vibration oscillates from one pole to another and back again in one
second, (also called "cycles per second" or cps). In some schools of
thought, the fundamental vibration of a thing is referred to as its
fundamental "harmonic". All things are connected to all other things
which have the same fundamental vibration as a consequence of their
harmonic correspondence.
Let's ride this thought train a bit further and
see how this Principle applies to the Tzolk'in sonic translations.

Firstly, the
vibrations of physical things have relatively slow frequencies, astral
[i.e. light] things have the highest physical frequencies and [astral
energy] light is the universal bridge between the frequencies of
physical things and the frequencies of emotional [psychic] and mental
[spiritual] things which have even higher frequencies than light (and
are, thus, nonphysical in Nature, [the upper cased "Nature" meaning
everything that exists, whether physical or nonphysical, in all
dimensions, everywhere]). Since all things are the product of vibration
and all vibrations are the product of movement in measure, all things
have some measurable effect on the universe in which they exist. The
frequency of the musical tone "[middle] G" oscillates at approximately
780 cps; it is a thing which has a predominant vibration in the
physical realm and effects the physical body in a manner which
strengthens the body, stimulates the sense of taste, physical
coordination, balanced metabolism and aids in the regulation of the
thyroid. When G is multiplied by 2, the tone is raised one octave.
Multiplied again by 2, the tone is raised another octave. Each of these
subsequent tones is harmonically the same vibration, the only
difference is the speed of oscillation or frequency; (the physical
effects of the tone remaining fundamentally the same). Gradually,
multiplying the tone's frequency by 2, the tone is raise octave by
octave from the sound register to the cps of radio waves, then to the
cps of television waves, then microwaves, then infrared waves, then
light waves where the vibration which started out as the musical tone G
becomes the cps of light which we see as the color blue; thus, every
time we see Earth's blue sky, our brains are receiving not only the
energy of the color blue, they are also receiving the energy of the
musical tone G in an accelerated state and, since color is a physical
thing, the physical effects of the tone G are the same physical effects
of the color blue; (the tone G and the color blue have a direct
harmonic correspondence). When this fundamental vibration is raised
again (multiplied by two enough times), it oscillates in the range of
ultraviolet energy, next, gamma ray energy, then emotional/psychic
energy, (where it has the effect of promoting tranquillity, psychic
clarity and protection) and, subsequently, mental/spiritual energy,
(where it promotes self-awareness, increased intellectual capacity and
wisdom). Thus, since the fundamental harmonic of the musical tone G is
the same whether the tone is oscillating in the physical, psychic or
mental frequency range, this harmonic directly effects the human being
by strengthening the body, stimulating the sense of taste, physical
coordination, balanced metabolism and the regulation of the thyroid (in
the physical state or body), promoting emotional tranquility, psychic
clarity and protection (in the psychic body) as well as self-awareness,
increased intellectual capacity and wisdom (in the mental body),
regardless of whether the musical tone G [below] or the color blue
[above] is the direct stimulus.

Secondly, just
as a ball on a string swung switfly in a circle begins to make a
clearly audible, whistling sound as the speed of its cycles increases
to a cps of the sound spectrum, the obits of planets and solar systems,
stars and star systems (which all cycle in the same way as the ball)
have a frequency that is also analogous to tone. Whereas these cycles
are very slow from the "per second" point of view, if the numeric
values of the frequencies of these cycles are determined and such
values are multiplied by 2 [octave by octave] enough times, the
corresponding musical tones of any planetary or stellar cycles can be
heard. The relationship between the frequency of the orbit of a
celestial body and its corresponding musical tone is harmonic in
nature. Just as there is a relationship between vibration, tone and
mental processes, there is a relationship between the frequencies of
celestial cycles and physical, emotional, mental and spiritual
processes. The Tzolk'in not only represents the frequencies of various
celestial cycles, it also represents the physical, emotional, mental
and spiritual effects such cycles collectively generate on the human
being.

Finally, (although
they are not physical in Nature, hence, not possessive of any
quantitative mass, ergo not applicable to Einstein's Theory of
Relativity [E=mass times the speed of light squared]), states of
consciousness are also vibratory in nature, thus, they also have a
fundamental harmonic basis.
Hence, the [exponentially high] vibrations of states and aspects of
consciousness have a direct harmonic correspondence with the [lower cps
of the vibrations in the] psychic realm and [the even lower cps of the
vibrations of] the physical realm. Thus, if the basic frequencies of a
state or aspect of consciousness can be determined, the numeric value
of those frequencies' cps can be lowered (by dividing by 2) octave by
octave until the frequencies can be heard as musical tones --- when
those resultant musical tones are broadcast by any means (musical
instrument, computer, audio tape or CD), they stimulate the activity of
such states of consciousness in all persons who are within the range of
the broadcast and, (whether the person is hearing impaired or not), the
energies of such states of consciousness are invested in the person's
body and mind via the principle of harmonic correspondence; (i.e. the
body processes the [sonically expressed] spiritual frequencies in an
analogous form as chemical energy, thus enabling the brain to utilize
this biologized spiritual energy to increase its capacity to process
such energy and to interact with its environment from the perspective
of the relative state of consciousness).

The Energies
of the Cosmos are the result of the interaction of yang/active/electric
and yin/passive/magnetic forces, thus, in order to be effective, the
archetypal energies of the Cosmos translated into sound and/or light
must follow this Rule. The most dynamic Tzolk'in sonic translations are
those effected in stereo with the active tonal sequence completely on
one track and the passive tonal sequence completely on the other track.
(The trust's Tzolk'in sonic translations are as such.) The theory
behind
the Tzolk'in sonic translations is that, since these sequences are
simply tonal reproductions of the interrelationships of the yin and
yang of natural, universal, interdimensional cycles and, since the
brain is a product of such cyclical interactions and therefore very
interwoven with the subtleties of such and, since the brain naturally
increases its IQ and neuronal interconnectedness when subjected to
music which is mathematically designed to have such beneficial effects
(e.g. the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), the brain will be
stimulated by these sequences to propogate the neuronal environment
whereby we may become more Divine, in our minds, psyche's and bodies,
by becoming harmonically attuned to the Way of the Intelligence of the
Cosmos, to the Mind, Psyche and Body of the Cosmos. The brain
[including, the "brain/computer" at the center of each of our cells,
our dna] is stimulated by the interaction of these complementary tonal
sequences to effect the stimulation of neuronal and other activities
relative to a vast number of aspects of our being human, particulary to
the aspects of Consciousenss of That that is called Divine. In other
words, when the vibrations of the Cosmos pass through the individual in
the form of sound they change the individual in a way that enables her
to live more in harmony with the Cosmos and the forces which are
operative in her personal life, thus reducing her stresses and [as in
the case of the Tzolk'in sonic translations] improving her spiritual
perception (relative to her personal spiritual/religious orientation)
and her state of mind, emotions and physical health.

principle upon which the Tzolk'in and the Tzolk'in sonic translations
are
based. There are entire libraries devoted to expounding on this
principle. Hopefully, with this simplified explanation, you now
understand how these translations work and have a better idea how you
can consciously and actively use them to enhance your life.
